Hi everybody, I've joined the society for the first time this year and haven't had time to visit any of the waters yet. I live on the river at Zouch and most of my tfishing is for the carp there.

could anyone give me any info on the stretches of the Soar at Kegworth and ratcliffe with regards to carp fishing please?

If any body wants any info on the Normanton/zouch stretch of the Soar i would be happy to oblige.

Thanks
Nick East

Nick

There certainly are carp in both the LEVAS stretches of the Soar. Above the weir (and the weir pool itself) at Radcliffe and the horse shoe bend at Kegworth are good holding areas. You won't catch lots of carp but there are some good fish to be had. The only downside is the large head of bream in these areas can clean up baited areas in next to no time.

Good luck

Hi Nick
Yes I'm the same misterbarbel, I still look in on BFW but got a little bored with all the back stabbing and general bad feeling. Hence I don't post too often. Good look with those Soar carp.
