The same angler that ended last season so well started the current one in similar vein by taking 10 barbel to 12 lb on Sunday 17 June (during daylight). I understand other anglers were also enjoying superb sport that weekend.

Anglers fishing the Trent may be interested to note that the club (LEVAS) have reduced the number of pegs on their Long Eaton stretch of the River Trent by substantially increasing the space between each. No fishing is allowed except on the 'cut out' pegs to encourage bankside growth between them.
