| Looking at CEMEXs guidebook (available to download from http://www.cemexangling.co.uk/) it appears that they are claiming to have obtained fishing rights on what is LEVAS trent water at Thrumpton extending downstream in to what I think is NAA water. Anyone know if LEVAS have given up that water for the 2008 season? |

LEVAS has not given up any of their fishing rights on the River Trent.
From my understanding, CEMEX membership will enable their permit holders to fish only on banks owned by them. LEVAS rents the marsh below Cranfleet from CEMEX, and, after agreeing terms, have agreed to enable access to CEMEX members to that marsh only.
The next marsh, including the 'Thrupton Ferry', from the 'fence end' to the Notts AA water, and adjacent to the neww gravel diggings, is not included in the agreement and remains solely for use by LEVAS members (excepting bona fide match bookings). _________________ John |

Further to my previous answer, I confirm that CEMEX members may only access the marsh adjacent to (and immediately below) Cranfleet Lock. In return LEVAS has obtained a rent reduction and are negotiating for car parking facilities to be constructed for eventual use by both CEMEX and LEVAS members. I hope this allays any fears. _________________ John |
