What's the latest on the post and padlock at the Fletcher's Pond car park? I got a permit this year for the first time and had really been looking forward to my first session this weekend there now that the season has begun. However, when I went down a couple of nights back for a look around access to the car park was blocked by a new post and padlock which I am told was put there by Railtrack last month - and nobody has keys to it yet. I'm gather that there is a back way to the Pond from Trent Lock, but I don't know it, and anyway have loads of gear to lug and don't fancy a long hike across the fields.
I'm really cheesed off.
