Hey this is my first post on this web site.

Hi im a new member joined this year im really pleased with the river soar the section below the weir is really good, however only one problem with it. On the other side (witch is only a tiny chuck away!) they have matches and when they do that it takes up the whole of the starch below the weir apart from the first two pegs, so if some one ids there then well you’ve had it really.

I was wondering If you could type up on this site when the matches are secluded over on the other bank? I know they are nothing to do with levas but as they take up our water then it does concern us, does it not?

alright,

I've been down a few times and one guy told me the fishing rights for the opposite bank are owned by the farmer and they have a match every sunday morning. Don't know about any other day or if they'll continue into the winter anyone else know ?

no mate, not the case as they had a match last saturday me and my dad went down, also two other members came down after us and went home without fishing because of this!

seem silly as this could be worked out with alittle conumication, if we knew when the matches was then we could all plan our trips around them around them

I have no problem is putting these match dates on this site, but I can't do it without the information. Can someone find out which club has the rights, who their contact is (i.e. Club Secretary), and their e-mail address or telephone number. I have asked several people since this issue was raised but no-one knows.
