The 2006 Erewash Canal Championships will utilise the whole of the Long Eaton Victoria AS reach of canal, as well as the waters controlled by Long Eaton Federation and some of the Notts AA water.  It will cover the stretches of sections G, H, J and K to be used in the Division 1 National Championships due to be held on 12 August - and enable competing teams final practice under match conditions.

LEVAS's Match Secretary, Dave Kent, is co-ordinating the event and may be contacted on (0115) 8492854 for entries.

Fishing will be from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm, with the draw (and results) at the Steamboat Inn, Trent Lock, Long Eaton, at 8.30 am.

Entry fee is £15 all in at the draw (of which £12.50 will be paid out as pools).
