Sunday 3 September 2006 saw the Centenary  Cup contested by another 'sell out'.  Most competitors enjoyed an excellent day's sport, although the pegs at either end failed to produce much, with most of the top weights being taken by the pegs around the point.......

After the recent unpleasant weather and a cool and misty start to the day, after an excellent breakfast, competitors enjoyed a warm and sunny day, and quite good sport,  when they fished Peninsular Lake at Blake Hall (near Cheadle) in round 10 of this season's Club Championship, and also for the K Smith Cup......
