In the penultimate match of this year's BW Makins Winter League, LEVAS Team member Jamie Adcock turned in a star performance to not only win his 18 peg section, but also to win Phase 1 and take second place overall in the 216 peg event.

Fishing on peg B15 on Lake 2, Jamie landed 7 carp on ledgered sweet corn to total 59 lbs.  This included a huge 'ghosty', estimated to weigh around 17 lbs.

With John Adamson also winning his 18 peg section (Reptile, Little Reptile and Inner Avon) with 33 lbs, the team totalled 118 points for 7th place.  Top team on the day was Mansfield Gold (the league leaders) with 68 points.  LEVAS are currently in 10th place overall.
