NEW CARP ARE IN GRANGE POND (13 MARCH 2007) | Print |

Approximately 350 prime carp were introdcuced to Grange Pond on Tuesday 13 March 2007.

The fish, which varied between one and three pounds each in weight, were mainly fully scales commons but the consignment included several plump mirror carp as well.

The fish are expected to settle in quickly and should provide some excellent sport for some time to come.  They are probably used to a pellet diet and so should respond well to pellet feed and hook baits over the next few months.
