Match 4 (28 May) followed heavy rain and rising levels, so anglers opted more for safety and comfort when pegs were allocated.  Mark Lowe made excellent use of peg 4 to take 4 carp on method feeder baited with corn for 20 lb 4 oz, just edging out John Adamson's 3 carp catch of 18 lb from peg 5.  Martyn Boyes was third with 8 lb 12 oz.

Match 5 (4 June) was fished in a cold easterly wind, and once again Mark Lowe came out on top with a single carp and a few roach from sheltered peg 27, for 6 lb 8 oz.

Jim Meakin was runner up with a carp of 3 lb 12 oz from peg 1 on pellet, John Adamson third from peg 7 with a tench and a couple of roach (pole fished meat) for 3 lb 8 oz, just edging out Dave Kent (peg 16) who had a carp and a roach on pole fished corn for 3 lb.
