The W Camm Cup competition, also Match 5 for the current season's Club Championship, was staged on the 'B' bank of Lake 2 at BW Makins fishery, and, except for the winner, proved a very close and hard fought match with less than 3 lbs separating 2nd to 5th places.

However, fishing peg B2 and casting a feeder to the island, John Adamson caught bream to 2 lb and carp at times throughout the match to finish a clear winner with 128 lb 12 oz.

Second weight fell to Ray Ketcher with 64 lb 8 oz, who used similar tactics to the winner on peg B15 for his all carp catch, which put him 4 oz clear of last week's winner, Jamie Adcock, who used 13m of pole to present pellet bait 'up in the water' on peg B20 for his 64 lb 4 oz for third place.

Fourth place fell to Chris Waite with a feeder caught 63 lb 4 oz from peg B18, fifth falling to Paul Richardson (peg B21) who also fished the feeder for 61 lb 12 oz.
