The 2007 LEVAS annual outing was held at Barston Lake, also the home of the West Midlands Golf Club, and 30 members attended.

The pre-match breakfast and after match dinner were excellent, and set everyone up for the fishing in between, when, although everyone had to work hard to get a response, everyone caught fish from the large, picturesque, but generally shallow lake, which was betwen 3 and 4 feet deep.

Current Championship leader, Paul Richardson, continued his great form so far this season with yet another win.  Fishing peg 22, Paul fished method feeder throughout the match.  Alternating between meat and boilies as bait, he tempted several decent size carp for his total weight of 77 lbs.

Runner up John Adamson (peg 27) also fished method feeder throughout the match, and using hard pellet bait his four decent carp plus a few small carp and skimmer bream totalled 46 lb 12 oz.

Brain Leafe took third spot with 39 lb from peg 25, Pete James was fourth with 37 lb 12 oz from peg 12, with Tony Billington fifth with 35 lb 4 oz from peg 17.
