Match 8 on the LEVAS Championship calendar, for the Centenary Cup at Boddington Reservoir, fished by 23 members, did not produce the level of sport we have come to expect from the venue. 

However, this did not stop Championship front-runner Paul Richardson from delivering yet another impressive performance to further increase his lead. 

Fishing peg 50, Paul caught around 20 carp on method feeder to put 108 lb 12 oz on the scales.  Runner up John Adamson also fished method feeder for his 24 carp catch totalling 102 lb 4 oz from peg 40, as did Jamie Adcock (peg 53) who took third place with 99 lb 12 oz.

Fourth place fell to Lee Westwood from peg 43 with a pellet waggler caught 79 lb 8 oz, just enough to edge out Steve Wilcox (peg 38) who alternated between pellet waggler and straight bomb for 76 lb.
