Due to an unexpected poor turn out by members, several guests were invited (and attended) to make up numbers and reduce losses (all pegs booked had to be paid for).

In a strong facing wind, with rain throughout much of the day, sport was unexpectedly hard for many of the competitors, and the match was dominated by the pegs in the 'teens'.  However, every single competitor landed at least one carp.

Top weight on the day was taken by guest angler Dave Rossi from peg 17.  Dave fished method feeder throughout (with a variety of baits) for a 24 carp catch weighing 131 lb.

Top LEVAS member and trophy winner was Simon Harper.  Fishing from peg 19, Simon also fished method feeder (baited with luncheon meat) for 22 carp weighing 120 lb.

Third place fell to current Championship leader, Paul Richardson, with 92 lb from peg 13, fourth was Rob Henrick (guest) with 67 lb 8 oz from peg 10, fifth John Adamson with 65 lb 8 oz from peg 7, with Don Radmore in sixth spot with 59 lb from peg 11.

After 14 matches the Championship leaders are: Paul Richardson (228 points), John Adamson (217), Dave Kent (186), Malc Munn (145), Brian Leafe (136), Ivan Carrier (103).
