Team LEVAS (sponsored by the Sarah Mansfield) managed a creditable 4th place in the sixth and final BW Makins Winter League match of the 2007 series, lifting their overall place to a final 8th position in the league.

Star perfomers in the final match were Jamie Adcock, whose 21 lb from Avon peg 5 gained him 4th place on Phase 3, with Terry Cockburn with 11 lb from Thames peg 11 and Anthony White with 6 lb from peg A8 Lake 2 both winning section money.

During the 2007 campaign, a total of 14 pool prizes (totalling around £1,400) were won by 8 different team members, and had it not been for the 16th place blow out in match 2, a top 6 place would have been a distinct possibility.

Plans are already underway for the 2008 Winter's campaign, and should any member wish to be considered for the squad they should contact Dave Kent or John Adamson.
