The social evening and prizegiving for the club's excellent Christmas Fayre event (Match 15 on Erewash Canal,) was held on Wednesday 19th December at the Curzon Club in Long Eaton. 

Once again the event was well very supported by most of the competitiors (and some partners), and all enjoyed a superb evening.  This included the usual 'pairs' darts knock-out tournament (organised by Paul Richardson), an excellent sausage, chips, bread and butter meal, the Christmas Match prizegiving (when every competitor either attended or was represented) so all prizes were collected, and then an excellent raffle (that paid for the evening).

Every competitior from the match (all of whom weighed in) collected both a meat prize and a liquid one to wash the latter down with.

The event, as always, was superbly organised by David Kent (Club General Secretary).  Members thank Dave and all other volunteer helpers on the evening, including everyone at the Curzon Club for helping make this annual event so memorable.
