Excellent news for LEVAS's carp anglers - Fletchers Pond will be open for fishing throughout all 12 months of the year.

Until now, Fletchers, the Club's specialist carp water which holds fish over 30 lb in weight, has always been closed for fishing throughout the 'old closed season', 15 March to 15 June inclusively.  With immediate effect, the LEVAS Committee has agreed to abolish the closed season at Fletchers.  This creates an opportunity for the club's carp fraternity to enjoy some excellent early year sport on the lake.

Existing or potential new members are reminded that a 'Fletchers Permit' is required in addition to basic LEVAS membership before fishing the lake.  These permits, which run from 1 May to 30 April alongside LEVAS membership, may be obtained from the Club's Membership Secretary, Paul Richardson.  The new membership books are expected to be available towards the end of April.
