LEVAS have been invited to fish the 11th Annual Nottingham Evening Post 'Four-Team' invitation match at Barnstone (near Cotgrave), which this year has been expanded to 16 teams in total.  There will be two heats of 8 teams each (on 5 and 26 July) with the top four in each poing throught to the grand final of 8 teams on August 23.  Further sponsorship of the event is likely.

The venue contains carp (some very big), bream and silvers, and I understand lots of skimmers may be caught from most areas.  The aftermatch presentations will take place over a pint and a chip cob at the nearby Boot and Shoe.

STOP PRESS: LEVAS are drawn in heat one, to be fished on 5 July 2008, against Magpies, ROF, Boot & Shoe, Radcliffe, Terry Dorman, Spice Supreme and Matchman Bulwell. 

The other heat includes: Midland, Barnstone, Matchman Supplies, Bingham, District Council, JH Moores, Embankment and Peacock All Stars.

For the present we need to form a squad of 5 or 6 anglers keen to fish the event.  Names please to Dave Kent or John Adamson.
