Seven Junior members contested Match 4 of the 2008 Championship Series at Beechwood Fishery (Elvaston), and all enjoyed some superb sport.

The under 13 age group dominated the results, taking all top three places on the day.  Top weight fell to 12 year old Curtis Hodges (peg 10).  Curtis alternated between pole and rod tactics withbread and maggot bait for 14 lb 6 oz of small carp.  Second place was taken by 8 year old Callum Hemmings (peg 12) with 13 lb 15 oz, third falling to 8 year old Adam Brailsford (peg 3) who landed 12 lb 13 oz.

Top weight in the 13+ age group was taken by Anthony Hanstock (age 13) with 7 lb 5 oz of carp and roach frpm peg 1, using pole baited with pellets and maggots, just edging out Jake Hemmings (age 13) with 6 lb 8 oz from peg 14.
