Championship match 11 was fished at Aldercar Fishery, and although a joint match with Soldiers & Sailors, was olny attended by 12 anglers.

For most competitiors it proved to be a hard match, with most struggling for bites and 4 having 'dry nets', although winner Brian Leafe (peg 4) enjoyed an excellent day catching around 60 carp on pellet for 34 lb 12 oz. This was nearly as much as the rest of the weights added together.

Malc Munn on peg 22 continued his good form with 8 lb 12 oz (including a carp of 3 lb +) on maggot for for second place, with third placed Davce McPate (peg 38) taking 7 lb, ahead of Dave Cotterill (peg 40) and Keith White (peg 2) both with 4 lb 8 oz, Paul Richardson in sixth with 3 ln 10 from peg 24.
