Members can once again enjoy the superb sport on LEVAS's Colwick stretch of the River Trent in much greater comfort and safety that before.
Throughout the Autumn and Winter of 2011, work has been undertaken on the floodbanks, and part of this has been improving anglers' access to the stretch. Members will now see that there are now decent "stepping stones" over the brook at the access from Colwick Park, and on the steep banked early pegs stone steps have been put in with safe stone fishing positions located at the water's edge.
The work is now complete and members once again have full access to this superb stretch of the river.
The photographs below show some
of the improvements.
