When you joined the club / renewed your membership you were issued with a membership book containing a full copy of the LEVAS Constitution and Rules. All of the Society's rules are also contained within these pages. Just 'click' on the appropriate heading on the left of this page to access these. Also, below is the facility for you to download a full copy of the rules.
Please read all the Society's rules carefully. Become familiar with them, follow them yourself and support our club by seeing that all other members adhere to them. By doing so you will help to keep our waters safe, secure and clean, making them more pleasant and enabling other members to benefit and enjoy their sport.
At all times, please follow the basic rules laid out below.
1. All participating members must hold a current Licence to Fish issued by the Environment Agency.
2. Keep banks clean and free from litter by making sure your 'peg' is clear of litter both before and after you fish.
3. Where appropriate, close all gates once you have gained access.
4. Digging or damaging banks is strictly forbidden.
5. No erection of tents or camping equipment.
6. No Guns to be carried when fishing.
7. Always consider the effect of anything you do on other members, participants and water users. If it conversely affects their enjoyment, try not to do it.
8. Members are encouraged to act as Bailiff when fishing club controlled waters.
9. Members are reminded that the use of lead fishing weights greater the 0.06 grams and less than 28.38 grams is prohibited.
10. Have fun, enjoy your fishing, and help other members enjoy theirs.
