LEVAS Senior Club Competitions MATCH PROGRAMME 2008 - 2009

Lists the (senior) club championship and trophy competitions scheduled throughout the season. It also includes other major events involving club match anglers (e.g. National Championships and Winter Leagues).

• Members must register their entry for matches no later than Thursday evening for a weekend match, or Monday evening for a Wednesday match, by telephoning the Match Secretary, Dave Kent, on (0115) 8492854.

• To be paid in full to organiser immediately prior to draw of each match
• Peg/entry fees to be:
  • £3.00 for matches on club waters and
  • £6.00 for away matches
  • These fees are mandatory
  • Non attendees must pay these fees should they fail to cancel their entry by the Thursday evening prior to a weekend match, or Monday evening for a Wednesday match.
• Standard pools entry for club matches are as follows:
  • £2.00 section pool (one winner who is not recipient of main pools)
  • £7.00 overall pool (two to five winners dependant on numbers entering)
  • Entry to pools is optional.
  • On the day, the total pools paid out will equate to total received. To aid administration, the organiser may vary amount paid in each category depending on number of entries, sections and venue used
  • Pools to be paid out immediately after match at announcement of results

• Entries for Annual Outing match must be in 7 days before the match.
• Cost, to include Breakfast, Evening Meal, Entry Fee and Pools, will be confirmed by the Match Secretary, on request, at time of entry, and must be paid by all who book in.

• The draw for all matches is 9am for a weekend event unless stated otherwise.
• Fishing is from 10.15am to 3.15pm (5 hours) unless stated otherwise or agreed by majority at the draw, except match 4 (3 hours duration, draw 5.30 pm, fish 6.15 pm to 9.15 pm) and matches 6, 8 and 11, which could be 6 hours by agreement.

• Anglers with litter at their pegs WILL NOT be weighed in
• Competitors to assist with weigh in at organiser’s request
• Scales person has final say over weight showing on scales

• Six matches, teams of 12, all fished at Preston Innovations BW Makins Fishery.
• Members wishing to represent LEVAS should contact the Match Secretary at earliest opportunity, stating contact details and availability.

• Fished Monday evenings throughout from 12 May to 11 August 2008
• To enter, pay entry fee at draw for each match.
• Draw in car park 5.30pm.  Fish 6.15pm to 9pm/9.15pm (agreed at draw)
• £6 entry fee includes pools and match fee (paid at draw)
