They have deep, narrow bodies which is adapted well to swimming weedy water. They have a down turned mouth which can be projected forwards while they are feeding on the bottom of muddy lakes and rivers. |

- Bream are also fond of a large amount of ground bait and a cocktail of baits.
A good method of fishing for bream is to use a ground bait swim feeder with worm or caster. Bream tend to feed better when there is a good colour to the water. Bream can be found in ponds, lakes and slow moving rivers. When handling Bream be careful of the slime they are covered with, this is a protective mucus. Do not use any kind of fabrics when handling these fish, just use wet hands. |
