| Chub in many ways looks like a dace at first glance, both having black tails and grey or green backs. Chub however, usually have a brassy coloured flanks with a orange anal fin and big mouths. They also grow much larger than dace. Also the dorsal fins are concex (arched) while those of the dace are slightly concave (indented) |

- Worms
- Casters
- Cheese
- Bread
- Hemp
- Tares
- Chub can be found in most low land rivers, canals, brooks and streams.
- Fish the oppersite bank, under over hanging trees.
- Try not to spook the fish by casting into them, cast up stream from them
